Retention Policy

Review the policies that govern AgentAssist data, AI assistance, organization billing, security, and support workflows.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

AgentAssist retains data for product operation, security, billing, audit, and compliance needs.

Product data

Organization content is retained while the organization account is active unless configured retention controls or approved deletion workflows remove it earlier.

Documents, chunks, conversations, citations, and metadata may be retained to support retrieval, analytics, audit, and user-visible history.

AI and retrieval data

AI prompts, responses, retrieval metadata, selected document scope, citations, ratings, and structured artifacts may be retained to provide conversation history, source review, compliance evidence, quality improvement, and troubleshooting.

Audit and compliance records

Audit, security, billing, deletion, support-access, and operational evidence may be retained longer to prevent abuse, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and prove compliance actions.

Backups

Backups may retain deleted data for a limited period until normal backup rotation removes it.

Deletion workflow

Approved deletion workflows may include request intake, admin review, affected-resource inventory, purge execution, evidence capture, and retention notes for records that cannot be immediately removed.

Environment notes

Dev and staging environments may use seeded data for testing. Production retention commitments should be reviewed against the final customer agreement and deployment configuration.
